The commitment

This site is built to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. That standard is the target, and where the site falls short of it we want to know so it can be fixed.

What has been done

• A single heading hierarchy per page with no skipped levels, and landmark elements for the header, navigation, main content and footer
• A skip link to the main content as the first item in the tab order
• Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard alone, including the diagnostic tool, which can also be answered with the number keys
• A visible focus indicator on every focusable element that is not obscured by other content
• Text and interface color contrast measured rather than estimated, against both the light and the dark presentation of the site
• Alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked as decorative so screen readers skip them
• Form fields with real labels rather than placeholder text, with required and optional fields both marked explicitly
• Data presented as a chart is also available as a table on the same page
• Motion respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system, and no content depends on an animation to become visible
• The site follows your light or dark appearance setting rather than forcing one

Known limits

Automated testing catches only a portion of real barriers. This site has been built to the checklist above and reviewed by hand, and it has not been through a formal third party audit or testing with assistive technology users. That is stated plainly rather than implied away.
